Corporate Communications

The Corporate Communications Department will be responsible for the day to day handling of QFCRA communication matters, including press relations, public relations and the issuing of all informational material by the Regulatory Authority. Applications are now invited from media, advertising and public relations professionals with substantial corporate communications experience including news management, publishing and government relations. Ideally a bi-lingual (Arabic/English) media relations and e-communications specialist with experience of handling high profile corporate communications projects including news managements, drafting articles and speeches, handling interviews, writing background and briefing documents and advising senior management on external relations and communications matters.

Web & Intranet Manager

The Web & Intranet Manager manages the analysis, design, enhancements, operations, maintenance, and measures effectiveness of the content and technical functionality of web sites of the organisation. The web sites currently include the internet and intranet websites.

Applications are invited from candidates with 4-6 years progressive experience with managing website and intranet operations. An ideal candidate must possess superior knowledge of ASP/.NET/PHP/CSS/SQL/XML Server/Oracle/and other advanced web programming languages and technologies and must have an ability to produce and edit both Arabic and English content at a professional level.

Secretary

Provide administrative support to senior managers and assist in the coordination of departmental projects. Responsibilities include managing electronic calendars, drafting correspondence, filing, conducting research, transcribing verbal notes, and general secretarial support.

This position requires 5 years of experience as a secretary and excellent written skills in addition to fluency in English. Arabic language skills are a plus.

Case Officer (GFP)

The QFC Regulatory Authority has established a prestigious one-year Fellowship Programme for exceptional Qatari Nationals.

The purpose of the Fellowship Programme is to provide gifted and highly motivated young Qatari men and women with first-hand experience in the process of operating and managing a world-class regulatory organisation and personal involvement in the development of the QFC.

Successful applicants will be employed full time by the QFC Regulatory Authority and will receive first-class, hands-on experience in regulatory practices in various QFC Regulatory Authority functions such as Policy Development, Authorisation, Supervision and Legal and Regulatory Compliance.
